ATTENTION ALL VARO PILOTS!!!
As we head towards a new season of racing with VARO, we have a few things going on.
First, we will be contacting all pilots regarding their system/connection certification and pylon school certification.
We want to have as many of you certified and ready to go when we start qualifications in June.
I'll be sending an email out in the next day or so with more info. I hope to get in a few practice sessions and pilot certifications before June 7th.
Second, we'll be filling some additional spaces on the VARO board. We currently need a new Construction Support Officer to help with new skins, aircraft and scenery constructions.
We also will need a bunch of Air Bosses and Race Control Officials along with a Race Support Officer. Air Bosses and RCO's will be responsible for helping to run our official events, qualifications and even practice sessions. We need a deep pool of RCO's so that we are well covered during events in case there are schedule conflicts with the main board members. Our goal is to run all events as scheduled. This means we will need the help of everyone to make sure we have enough staff to keep events on track. All RCO's and Air Bosses will report to the RSO.
We will have some training sessions to get anyone interested up to speed. Believe it or not, running a race event takes some practice, discipline and planning. But, we have the tools to make life easier. What we need are bodies.

Finally, I hope everyone is prepared and excited for the upcoming season. We should see some great racing and a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to shaking off some of the rust with new faces and a new attitude.
