Re-Organization
It has come to the point where I feel for VARO be be more productive that we need to clearly define the positions and expectations for those positions that VARO need to grow. These positions will take effect as they are filled. Applications will be accepted in the general section of the message board. These changes are not being made for any personal reasons I, Sryth, simply feel that VARO needs a strong group of pilots that are dedicated and willing to put for the effort to help VARO grow. I also feel that the group that runs the daily operation of VARO should be as small as possible. I do want to thank all pilots that have contributed to VARO your help is appreciated.

VARO Staff

Race Coordinator
Sryth

Make final decisions about the direction and future or VARO
Lead the VARO Race Committee in the decision making process
Provide a weekly news report to all active pilots
Create and/or Approve all changes to the VARO website
Select and Approve candidates for VARO Staff


Aircraft Engineer
MapleOne

Create and/or approve all racing aircraft that VARO races
Provide timely updates on the status of aircraft currently being worked on

Publisist

Promote VARO through as many media as possible.
Give weekly updates through the VARO message board on their progress.
Help maintain the VARO website through proofreading and updates.

Pilot Instructor

Contact new pilots and providing training information
Lead and schedule Pylon School events for VARO
Help new pilots to make sure they are setup and ready to race with VARO
Provide timely updates on the progress of probationary pilots and contact pilots that have not been showing up the practices or races

Event Organizer

Help run events when needed
Must have knowledge of event operations.
record times and results for events.

Position descriptions may be updated and added as needed. Additional positions will be added as needed. Anyone will be considered for any position however you must be able to commit the time necessary to do your job. We are counting on everyone to do there job, if you do not feel you have the extra time to commit please do not apply.
