A word from the President
After last nights fiasco I started to question weither VARO was ready for open racing using Fs2002. I though long and hard and the conclusion I came to is.....YES! Up until last night we have has 4 races that race smooth as silk, Granted we had our issues and new pilots that needed help but for the most part the practices in november and december helped tremendously. Where do we go from here? We move on to the mother of all races the Unlimited! In 2 weeks I want to see every VARO pilot that is registered show up for the Unlimited race and really put the VARO staff to the challenge to prove we can run a solid event. VARO will never die as long as we have good pilots that just want to have fun and help promote air racing. Final point due to last night problems I am making the Flight Viewer 2 program mandatory for the rest of races. With this program I will have the raw data I need to make an official decision on the race. I will have a test session for pilots to get to know Flight Viewer 2 before next months races.
